the history of the eco movement is rooted in eugenics... it does not wash off easily. The whole top-down solutions is colonialism -- that is what it is... period. Yet no one talks about that ugly little factoid.

The spirit and habit of control is everywhere in the "save the world, collaborate, transform communities"space... everywhere. And projects that do not have those characteristics of "mind shift" are utterly incoherent to that realm. I am not sure why it is so hard to see that "mind shift" is utterly horrifying.
